Gallery Sonja Roesch is pleased to present Dirk Rathke’s fourth solo exhibition titled ‘Foldings’. The exhibition will open September 10th, with an opening reception from 5-7pm, and will close on October 29th, 2016.
Dirk Rathke creates objects with painted metal that go beyond the scope of the genre. This Berlin-based artist is part of a young generation that has developed fresh approaches to painting and has distinctive solutions in the geometric-abstract tradition. The relationship between line, area, space and movement is the main emphasis in Dirk Rathke’s artistic exploration.
